Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Salary Range: $70,000 – $96,000
Additional Compensation: Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (up to $10,000)
A full-time Radiation Therapist is needed to support a nationally recognized Cancer Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role is essential to delivering safe, precise radiation treatments and ensuring a positive experience for patients. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff, to provide high-quality care and support throughout the treatment process.
Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist
Conduct treatment simulations and prepare immobilization devices
Perform daily quality assurance on radiation therapy equipment
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Communicate clearly with patients and care team members
Monitor patient conditions and provide guidance and support
Follow all safety standards and departmental protocols
Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed or license-eligible in the state of New Mexico
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of radiation safety practices and equipment operation
Ability to safely manage radiation sources and maintain regulatory compliance
