Who We Want Join our Investment Research team as an entry-level Analyst with a passion for market insights, data analysis, and compelling presentations and visuals. In this role, you’ll work side by side with senior market strategists, gaining hands-on experience turning financial data into compelling commentary and charts for a variety of audiences. You’ll help prepare and refine datasets, create engaging visuals, and contribute to market notes, reports, and social media posts. This is a growth role designed for someone eager to deepen their understanding of financial markets, sharpen their analytical and communication skills, and expand their toolkit in data visualization and content creation. Under the mentorship of experienced professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in investment research while making an immediate impact.
What To Expect - Collaborate with industry-leading senior market strategists to provide market insight to Carson advisors and their clients; elevate the Carson Investment Research brand; and raise awareness of Carson offerings
- Assist in market research and analysis
- Draft and edit commentary, blogs, and social media posts
- Maintain, contribute to, and expand analytic datasets
- Create compelling charts and visuals
- Contribute to publishing workflows from content creation to posting
- Use YCharts and other tools to develop and maintain a suite of compelling charts for advisors
- Build relationships with external strategists to create and execute opportunities for cross-promotion
- Leverage AI and digital tools to improve efficiency in content creation
- Bring your best self to the role every day to ensure Carson’s leadership in supporting advisors and their clients
What You Need - Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative work environment
- Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to distill market and economic developments into concise, accurate insights
- Foundational knowledge of economics and financial markets with a strong interest in learning more
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize among multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to adapt tone and presentation for different platforms (web, email, social media)
- Experience using PowerPoint and Excel (or similar) for creating professional looking charts, tables, and other visuals
- Basic familiarity with using AI tools to drive efficiency while understanding their limitations
- Experience with publishing workflows (WordPress or similar CMS)
- Social media and podcast production support skills a plus (e.g., clipping highlights, formatting posts for LinkedIn/X)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field—or equivalent experience
Preferred Education And Experience - Prior exposure (internships, coursework, or entry-level roles) to market data, investment research, or financial content production preferred
- Experience in financial services, business journalism, or related industries a plus

The Total Rewards Expected For This Role Include - Starting annual base salary between $60,000 - $76,850.
