Job Description

Our client, one of the most recognized technology companies in the world, is looking to hire a Vertex Implementation Engineer, with expertise in both Vertex and SAP systems. This role will be vital for optimizing their fince and tax operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of fince processes, as well as expert level skills in leveraging SAP for fince operations and Vertex for tax compliance and magement.

Responsibilities

• Business Requirement Alysis: Engage closely with the fince and tax departments to gain a deep understanding of their processes, challenges, and objectives. Conduct detailed alysis to identify improvement and optimization opportunities.
• SAP and Vertex Solution Design: Design and recommend solutions using SAP for fince operations and Vertex for tax magement that address identified business needs. Ensure these solutions are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
• Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation of SAP fince modules and Vertex tax magement system, including system configuration, customization, and integration with existing business systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Testing and Validation: Mage testing activities to ensure the implemented solutions meet business needs without defects. Oversee user acceptance testing with the fince and tax teams.
• Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials for the fince and tax teams on new systems and features. Provide ongoing support and expert advice to ensure effective utilization of SAP and Vertex systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of fince and tax systems, identifying and resolving any issues to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Guarantee that all fincial and tax systems and processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and compliance records.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Vertex Tax and SAP Cloud Implementation Consultant of implementing and configuring Vertex tax solutions for different Legal Entities based in USA
• At least 2 full life cycles of Implementation, Configuration and Customization of Vertex: Configure and customize SAP Fince modules and Vertex tax software to meet the unique tax requirements of each Legal Entity, including tax rules, rates, and exemptions
• Must have 1+ years of Integration experience: Integrate Vertex tax solutions with existing ERP or fincial systems for both Use Tax and Sales Tax, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate tax calculations
