Role: UX Researcher

Location - Remote

A User Researcher is a curious observer willing to deploy disruptive approaches to plan and execute research studies end-to-end. In this position, you will work at a fast paced environment with varied projects from a diverse set of clientele. You will get to be a part of generative and evaluative design research projects employing inductive and deductive research methods and collaborate cross-functionally with client, research, design, strategy and development teams.

Responsibilities Understand requirements at nascent stages, in ambiguous scenarios and define research goals Plan and execute generative and evaluative user experience research activities along with performing comprehensive analyses of the competitive landscape, stakeholder ecosystem, market forces, and trends shaping an industry Identify the appropriate user experience research method, conduct primary and secondary qualitative research, write discussion guides, conduct interviews and other research methods to identify key design needs, design themes and design trends from the research to form clear and actionable analysis Analyze research findings and translate them into insights and turn insights into strategic design opportunities Provide a strategic lens within front-end innovation projects that include consideration of the product portfolio, innovation roadmap, and business case Effectively communicate research strategies, methodologies and insights to peers, partners and stakeholders and collaborate with designers to co-creating innovative solutions Facilitate workshops, assist with work sessions and presentations with design team and client partners Create inspiring ways to tell stories from research throughout the design process. Be the team's learning engine and help the team stay immersed of user needs at every stage of the design process.

Requirements Masters/Bachelors degree in psychology, behavioural science, anthropology, human-computer interaction or related design discipline 1-3 years of qualitative design research experience and driving tangible outcomes in a qualitative design capacity. A portfolio that highlights your work, specific contributions and learning/experience gained in the process Working knowledge of different research methods, designing surveys, writing discussion guides, moderating interviews, analyzing data, translating findings into frameworks & recommendations, including when and how to apply them during the product development process Strong background in user experience research with software apps leveraging usability techniques that include some of the following: remote and in-person usability testing, heuristic evaluation, task analysis, surveys, persona and journey map definition, and field research Experience with research design utilizing usability studies, contextual inquiry, survey methods and co-creation workshops Expertise in using AI tools in research process
