Job Title: Senior Manager Treasury
Job Description: The company is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to perform treasury functions. The prospective individual should have a broad understanding of finance, capital markets and strong analytical skills to apply within an asset management setting and dynamic environment. The candidate will have exposure to and liaise with all functional teams across its holdings, including senior management, portfolio managers, investment professionals and investor services.
Responsibilities
•Oversee all aspects of daily cash management including, reconciliation of cash activity for all investment vehicles, settlement processing of wire payments and ensuring the accuracy of cash balances within the internal portfolio/accounting system
•Perform cash forecasting and liquidity analyses of investment vehicles, including asset - liability mismatch
•Follow up with Bank representatives for a variety of reasons like new account openings, covering NSF situations, verifying whether an ACH or wire is good to release or not.
•Develop and maintain a platform to monitor and invest excess cash balances for yield enhancement
•Assist with the negotiations of financing lines of credit
•Assisting the accounting team in Audit requirements like Balance confirmations etc.
•Assisting by setting up Investor distributions every quarter.
•Supervise and monitor all borrowing activity associated with financing lines of credit
•Prepare weekly management reports detailing excess cash balances, credit facility availability.
•Setting up/maintenance/negotiations of credit cards activity.
•Opening DACA/Lock box accounts with lenders.
•Implement various automation between treasury banks and accounting system
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting preferred
•Finance professional with 7-10 years of experience and prior relevant experience on the buy side in banking operations, securities financing, P/L analysis and other middle office functions
•Strong in excel
•Preferable Certified Treasury Professional.
