Job Description

Position OverviewAs a Warehouse Training Manager, you will plan, organize, direct, and oversee all warehouse training programs for facility of responsibility; ensure that training programs fulfill operational needs and objectives; manage, guide, and develop Training staff; create and maintain a positive learning environment; and ensure staff members and trainees adhere to all established safety standards, regulations, and performance guidelines.Job DescriptionSupervise activities to ensure maintenance of training design, and that Trainees are receiving proper instruction.Appraise, motivate, and direct staff to ensure efficient operations using a professional and positive approach.Monitor and document trainee attendance and performance. Issue warnings or discipline if below acceptable standards.Track, monitor, and present new hire performance by using system data and trainer feedback to assist with identifying and prioritizing issues that impact trainee retention, establish the root cause, and provide findings and recommendations for business / training improvement.Work to align local training and development needs with organizational training objectives.Collaborate with local Human Resource Management in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new trainers.Ensure all new hires receive and understand all corporate delivered material and information intended for successful orientation of new associates.Reduce new hire turnover and increase "graduation" rates.QualificationsBachelor's Degree - Business, Training and Development, or Logistics Management and 1+ years of experience as a Warehouse Trainer or Training and Development.Associate's Degree - Business, Training and Development, or Logistics Management and 3 + years of experience as a Warehouse Trainer or Training and Development.In lieu of degree - High School Diploma with 5+ years years of experience as a Warehouse Trainer or Training and Development.QualificationsAssociate Degree - General Studies, Bachelor's Degree - General Studies, General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies, High School Diploma - General StudiesShiftCompanyES3, LLCAbout Our CompanyES3 is an experienced team of third-party logistics experts, saving Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturers significant time and money every day.
