ASC OverviewGW's ASC delivers same-day surgical care across ENT, plastics, general surgery, ortho, and other specialties. The center operates in a high-efficiency model emphasizing safety, speed, and patient comfort.Position SummaryThe ASC Nursing Manager provides clinical and administrative leadership to ensure the delivery of outstanding ambulatory surgical care in a streamlined and supportive setting.Main TasksOversee daily operations and patient flow in the ASCLead staffing, education, and engagement of the nursing teamCollaborate with OR, pre-op, PACU, and administrative teamsEnsure compliance with ASC regulations and hospital policiesMonitor quality metrics and continuous improvement projectsCoordinate with supply chain and support servicesBenefits SummaryNo nights, weekends, or holidaysMedical, dental, vision, life insuranceRetirement plan with matchEducational benefits and tuition reimbursementAmple PTO and wellness programsLeadership training and mentoring support Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.Licensure: Current RN license or eligibility to practice in the District of Columbia.Experience: 5+ years in surgical nursing settings, 1+ year in management. Experience with CMS and AAAHC standards preferred.Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CNOR or CAPA certification preferred.Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
