Driver is responsible for moving trailers to and from loading docks using a yard truck. Shuttling flatbed trailers and warehouse work – Cat engines and flatrags. No load securement.
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL A Local Shuttle Drivers based out of Savannah, Georgia . In this role, you'll be responsible for moving trailers to and from loading docks using a yard truck. Ensure trailers are correctly positioned at loading and unloading docks, perform routine checks, keep accurate records of trailer locations within the yards, & may perform minor maintenance on yard trucks (check diesel, fluids, etc.). You must be able to drive forklifts and help in the warehouse as needed. Coordinate with manager, supervisor dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient operations and adhere to safety procedures while operating equipment.
Valid CDL Class A License
At least 6 months to 1 year of CDL A driving experience
Clean MVR. No DUI or DWI in last 5 years.
No SAP. No Felony in last 10 years
Must pass DOT drug screen and background check
