Description We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join a prominent law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation. This is a long-term contract position, providing the opportunity to work remotely while handling complex and diverse legal cases. If you have a strong background in civil litigation and a passion for delivering exceptional legal services, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Oversee the litigation process for insurance defense cases - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, for matters in state and federal courts. - Conduct thorough and independent legal research to support motions, case strategy, and upcoming MSJs. - Perform legal research to craft compelling arguments and support case strategies. - Collaborate with colleagues, including partners and associates, to ensure high-quality outcomes. Requirements - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. - Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing. - Experience in civil litigation with a focus on insurance defense.
