Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Estimator / Project Manager to join their operations team in Jeffersonville, IN . This hybrid role combines project bidding and field coordination responsibilities, making it ideal for a professional with a strong background in estimating-particularly with INDOT and KYTC projects-and a passion for project execution and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure full compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
Perform detailed Bridge, Grade, and Drain quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates
Assist in preparing competitive and accurate bids for municipal, state, and commercial construction projects
Collaborate closely with field superintendents and the Area Manager to ensure seamless project execution
Support the Contract Administrator with invoicing, billing, and collections
Serve as the primary liaison throughout the project lifecycle-from initial bid to final payment
Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in INDOT , KYTC , municipal, and commercial construction
In-depth knowledge of INDOT and KYTC specifications and processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project) and digital takeoff software
Highly organized, with strong time management and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid/Heavy Job is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
OR
Equivalent combination of education and relevant hands-on construction experience
