We’re recruiting for an Electrical Controls Design Engineer to join our client’s engineering team in Raleigh, North Carolina . This is a full-time, onsite role with a global leader in power and thermal management technology serving industries from automation and renewable energy to data centers and utilities. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
In this role, you’ll design electrical control systems that power complex equipment and infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with other engineers to develop safe, efficient, and innovative solutions that meet both U.S. and international standards.
Responsibilities
Design and document AC/DC schematics, power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.
Create drawings, specifications, and calculations using AutoCAD, Revit, or EPLAN.
Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and IEC codes.
Collaborate across disciplines to deliver complete, integrated designs.
Support ongoing improvements in design tools and templates.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering; EIT or PE preferred.
Hands-on experience in electrical or controls design.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or EPLAN.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Details
Salary: $85,000–$125,000 base + 10% bonus
