Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and inventory valuations.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, profitability analyses, and inventory reconciliations.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide cost forecasts.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure accurate inventory costing and valuation in compliance with accounting standards.
• Support pricing decisions by providing accurate product cost information.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis, absorption costing).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze production costs, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
• Understanding of supply chain dynamics and their impact on manufacturing costs.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
