Job Description

1st Liberty FCU is actively searching for a BSA - AML Analyst located in Great Falls, MT.

• Support 1st Liberty’s Compliance/Audit Director and compliance programs.
• Perform reviews of credit union transactions and processes for signs of unusual or any out of the ordinary member account suspicious activity.
• Responsible for reports to the Compliance/Audit Director relative to any required suspicious and/or fraud activity.
• Reviewing FinCEN, watch lists, BSA, AML, CDD Alerts in a timely manner and take appropriate actions.
• Assisting in maintaining the safety and soundness of the credit union.
• Clerical support for maintaining/reporting of proper documentation and departmental backup duties of staff.

Requirements:

• Prefer 1+ years working experience in a related field or with clerical/research experience and basic knowledge of financial institution regulations and compliance requirements.
• Must be self-driven and professional.
• Must be detailed orientated with strong analytical and problem solving skills and likes research.
• Must have exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to process both in/out bound communications.
• Must have the ability to interpret regulations and disseminate information.
• Must have critical thinking, planning, multi-tasking and organization skills.
• Must be a team player and be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks and duties as required within the deadlines.
• Must be proficient with a variety of automated and standard office equipment and Microsoft Office programs, such as, 10 key calculator, copier, word, excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 25lbs.
